Why we’ve partnered with the N89 trail series

With N89 hosting a trail race on Saturday morning, it made perfect sense to bring some trail running love to the Shred Girls, so we partnered with them to bring an afternoon kids race (for girls and boys) that will take place at 2:30 PM on Saturday. Your kiddo can register on site at the Shred Girls registration table between 11 and 1 that day if they haven’t pre-registered (free if you have a Mansfield Outdoor Centre pass, otherwise, the only associated cost is a pass purchase, but all kids must register to race). And make sure you CHECK OUT THE TRAIL RACE OPTIONS FOR ADULTS HERE.

Why we’ve partnered with the MOMFORWARD MOVEMENT SERIES with For All Mothers+:

Did you know that 83% of parents say pregnancy or parenting has prevented them from participating in a race? Or that 66% of parents say lack of childcare is the main reason they can’t race? That’s why at our Shred Girls weekend, we’re celebrating motherhood and advocating for maternal equity by joining the MomForward Movement Series-a community-led active meetup series on May 31.

Register FOR FREE to demonstrate your support for mass-participation recreational events that champion mothers by providing essential services like lactation spaces, childcare, and flexible deferral policies. Let’s show our strength in numbers! We also encourage you to donate to All Mothers + and Strong Girl Publishing will be donating 10 percent of our profits from the event to All Mothers + as well.

Who is All Mothers+ ? For All Mothers+ is nonprofit on a mission to level the playing field for moms. Too often, becoming a mother comes with unfair setbacks—financially, socially, and even in health. They’re here to change that by breaking down barriers in sports and beyond. And it’s not just for moms—anyone who wants to help create a more supportive and inclusive world can be part of the movement!
